The shipping of break bulk goods such as grain, wheat, maize and agricultural fertilizer requires conventional shipping process. The sacks are placed in pallets having litiing slings atiached and transferred out of the ship. Alternatively, this can be done through a rather tedious process of organized manual labourers otherwise known as ‘gangs’. Bagged cargo is at times shipped in containers that are stripped upon arrival and warehoused for partial delivery either by rail wagons or by road. We have established the necessary partnerships needed to ensure that this is done within the port and proximity of rail and road services while ensuring safety and security of cargo.
Bulk cargo handling services include;
• Loading and unloading
• Stripping and stuffing
• Packaging and palletizing
• Tallying
• Storage and warehousing
• Pest control and fumigation
• Transport by rail wagons and by road
